Rev. Jonathan Brink
Rev. Brink received his B.A. in Music and Business from Houston Baptist University, and MDiv from Brite Divinity School. He was ordained in the Southwest Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in May of 2013. He has a passion for world outreach and has extensive skill in planning and leading mission projects and trips. Born in the Disciples tradition, Rev. Brink served on a number planning committees, and remains active within our Region and Area. He serves on the Youth Ministry Council as an Adult Advisor, is the Host Site Coordinator for the XPLOR Program through the National Benevolent Association, and is active in the LH4LH Pastors Group in Lake Highlands. Although previously serving a Disciples congregation in Kansas, Rev. Brink has also served an Cooperative Baptist congregation, and was a Brite representative in “Interfaith Trialogues” during seminary – embracing our ecumenical traditions and the Disciples welcome motto of “All Means All.” Jonathan has extensive experience in youth ministry, as well as leading/directing music and choral programs. His passions are writing, teaching, mission, music, and “loving people”.
Rev. Rhonda Tracy
Rhonda focuses on the discipleship and Children’s ministries of the church. Her passions include small group ministries, spiritual direction and our ministry at Lake Highlands Brookdale Assisted Living Center. Rhonda’s other ministry is to the Wylie ISD, in supporting the district’s administration. Rhonda leads with the support of her husband Pat, and sons Jordan and Tyler.
Director of Music
Lori coordinates the musical life of the church – chancel choir, worship hymns, soloists, and our handbell choir. Her ministries “set the bar” for our worship on Sundays. She is a talented pianist and has served HCC for 30 years!
